Good start to the holidays if I do say so myself, and, here comes Christmas!! Now I can't decide on whether to be excited bout the presents or the food. DAMN!
How cool would it be, if I could whip out a guitar, throw out a melody and rid the bad stuff away. The way I see it, I could. You could. We could. Hell, everyone could, but hey, it ain't happening. Why you ask? How should I know? Why are jokes funny? Why do miracles happen? Why is that person so annoying? Questions we can't answer because it's simple, we just don't know the answers. What, then, do we do? We try to find out the answers. In doing so, we find a multiple choice set up in front of us, relying on ourselves to choose which we think is right. Often we hear "there is no right or wrong answer" and it's no different here because everyone will have a side to stick to. In the end, it's how all sides find a formula that connects all the answers and forms an equation leading everyone to figure out, in their own way and method, the exact same answer, shake hands, and congratulate one another for a job well done and move on to the next problem.
Easy you say? We're human beings, and thus, we are bound by the the instinct not to work out the proper answer. That, my friends, requires some maturity. So.... got maturity? Didn't think so....
Oh and I haven't done this in awhile but here's Joe's Douched Up Review of:
Thirst (2009)

Now this film here.... hang on.... what? Twi what? Twilight? What's that? OH! That lame-ass vamp show! Now ladies and gentlemen I'm in no position to degrade or say that a certain movie is damn boring and meaningless but what I can say is that this Korean film, damn, it's an eye opener to what we've seen lately. It's a really different take on the whole 'vampire love' thingy. A compelling story about love (if you can get past some of the gore and 'stuff'), Park Chan-Wook's second film for me has me impressed. His previous movie 'Old Boy' was a real shocker for me, in a good way, and Thirst is no different. The plot and theme surrounding the film are enough to captivate the viewer yet there are some hidden easter eggs that will lurk in the back of your mind. A good watch and.... oh what the heck just watch it already.
Zombieland (2009)

Need a little comedy relief? Yup, Zombieland's got it. Now I'm in it 50/50 cos it was a surprise yet a let down. Zombieland aims to poke fun at the over-used constantly repeated zombie genre. While it does have it's funny moments, it ain't something to go LOL-to-the-power-of-10 kinda haha. I don't really know how to explain it. It's a comedy, it's got some interesting and good scripting and effects, but I expected a bit more from it. Go catch for some has hos and hees.

Damn I'm done with this module. Can I get a woot woot! This module proved fruitful. But what to do now? Now, I'm thanking God that I came up with a better story that got me doing my screenplay quicker and also thanking him I attained some games over this past week. Meaning? TIME TO PLAY!

Well post-pro is going alright so far I guess. Sad to say, everyone's confidence level seems to have gone down. I don't know, I'm still ok with it, and so is Shah. I think. But we'll see on Monday. But to me, worst case scenario would be that it turns out, for lack of a better word, normal. As in, it'll end in simplicity. Guess we just need a morale boost or a huge lightbulb above our heads.
Oh and DAMN!!!! Enter the Gates of Babylon!!!
I can take you anywhere, but sleep with the devil and then you must pay!

Hmm, looks like it's going alright for a group that needs quite a cast. Two more scenes tomorrow and editing, here I come. Slow and hopefully steady :P . Strange how we react to things at that point in time and then suddenly, its different 15 mins later. I've probably said that before but hey....
The resort was quite a sight to behold. Very very intriguing indeed. I'd like to attend a Christmas party there.
We'll see how smart you are when the canines come.
Oh what a strange feeling....

... who's planning to be a film maker? Now why would you be disappointed when I say editor? Why? Does one of the requirements to graduate say MUST BE A FILM MAKER IN FUTURE? What if I have my own plans? What if I know what I wanna do or what I'm good at or interested in? What if I know my limits and have plans to maybe take it on later or when I feel like it? Is it a crime for me to want a stable job first? My backside ain't THAT itchy......

Anyway, looks like a tough week ahead.... K hopefully not that tough since it seems like smooth sailing. But as they say, don't count your chickens before they hatch.
